children’s ministry

sunday life groups at 9am · sunday JCWay 10:30am

JC Way is a safe and loving environment where children learn to walk in the footsteps of Jesus Christ. This is what we hold to be true about the children’s ministries at The Church at Liberty Square: We believe that our children, right down to our babies, can lead others in JC Way – The “Jesus Christ Way”. With a look, a smile or a hug, a child can reveal the love of Jesus to even the hardest of hearts.
Children are safe when they enter our campus. Every volunteer completes a background check prior to serving with the children’s ministry team. Children are with caring, positive, creative leaders 100% of the time they are in our classrooms. God’s Word is spoken at each setting. We believe that time is too valuable to squander, therefore we capitalize on each moment by sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ and encourage the children to do the same when they are outside of the church walls.

wednesday adventure kids 7:00pm

We want the kids to learn how to give back and show others they care. They do this by participating in food drives for the Harvest House ministry of our church, by creating cards for those who serve in the armed forces, for local agencies and especially for those who are in the local nursing homes.

Open Arms Preschool

The Early Childhood Department ministers to children Birth to Pre-K5 each time the church doors are open for Sunday and Wednesday services. Our little ones are taught that God made them, God loves them and God wants to be their friend.
Our team is led by a Parent Co-op and provides regular teachers as well as rotating caregivers. We require background checks on all teachers and caregivers in the children’s department. There are security cameras in each of the rooms with a monitor at the front desk to ensure the safety of our children and caregivers. A pager can be provided to any parent for added comfort and security.

providence cemetery

Providence Cemetery has served the Cartersville/Bartow County community with extraordinary care and dignity since 1996.
Two beautiful gardens provide a noble resting place and permanent memorialization for the departed and a source of serenity for visitors. Families come here to remember a loved one and leave with a sense of peace. The Garden of Valor (mostly for military personnel) and the Rose Garden are set with flush mount bronze and marble markers.
Traditional ground burial provides a wide variety of choices, and allows for personal preference by offering individual locations with featured gardens. With traditional ground burial, costs are flexible and there are plans to meet most any budget. In addition, many personalization and memorialzation selections are available, allowing families to personalize loved ones’ gravesites through a wide range of memorial options.
Our Garden Mausoleum is an open-air structure that provides a lasting and beautiful remembrance option. Special landscaping features in the outdoor environment make this a desirable choice for many people.
Another area is exclusively for the burial of cremated remains, which also contains a scattering garden.
For those interested in the benefits of planning their arrangements in advance, Providence proudly offers a wise and simple way to take care of an important family responsibility today.
At Providence, we believe that every life is unique. The choices you make to celebrate the life of your loved one should be as special as the person they represent. That’s why you’ll always find our staff ready to go the extra mile to meet your special needs and requests.
